The Reality

What nobody tells
you about getting
into law school.

The applicants who get in aren't always the most qualified. They're the ones who understood the rules of the game. Jade Jean Lee has been on both sides of this table — and built jyra.law because she's done watching brilliant people lose on a technicality.

The gap between a rejection and an acceptance is almost always an information gap.

01
Your file gets 8 minutes, maybe less

That's the window. Every word, every choice, every formatting decision either earns your next minute or loses it. Most applicants don't know this until after they've applied.

02
Rolling admissions isn't just a timeline — it's a strategy

The first 20% of applications receive the most generous review. February submissions, even strong ones, are fighting over scraps. Timing is architecture.

03
Your personal statement isn't about your past

Committees are making a bet on your future. The applicants who understand this write completely different essays — and get completely different outcomes.

04
Diverse applicants are often asked to prove twice as much

The system wasn't built with you in mind. But it can be navigated. And when you know the architecture, you can work it — and open the door wider behind you.

The information gap is costing qualified applicants their seat.

You have the drive. Now get the framework that levels the playing field.

The Founder

I've been in
every room.

I went to Northwestern Law. I made partner track at a Big Law firm. And before all of that, I sat on an admissions committee and read thousands of applications — including the ones that got rejected for reasons nobody ever told the applicant.

I kept meeting people — smart, driven, qualified people — who were losing the admissions game not because of their credentials, but because of what they didn't know. First-generation students. Black women. Career changers. People who came from communities where nobody had a playbook for this.

I built this course because the information that changes outcomes has always existed. It just wasn't being shared with the right people. That ends here.

"I didn't build this for the applicant who already has every advantage. I built it for the one who's doing this without a roadmap — and deserves one."

The Curriculum

Six modules.
No filler.
All receipts.

Built from what I actually saw work — and what I watched fail — inside the admissions process. Every module is structured around what moves the needle, not what sounds good.

acceptances.

These aren't edge cases. These are students who had everything it took — and finally had the information to match.

Admitted → NYU Law

"I rewrote my personal statement three times before this course. After Module 3, I finally understood what was wrong. I had a compelling story — I just didn't know how to tell it. NYU and Georgetown both said yes."

NYU Law '25 · $30K merit scholarship
Admitted → UChicago Law

"I'm a career changer — 8 years in finance. I didn't know how to frame that as a strength. This course gave me the exact framework. Chicago gave me a spot and more aid than I thought to ask for."

UChicago Law '26 · Career changer
Admitted → Columbia Law

"The waitlist module alone was worth the price. I followed the LOCI template, added one personal update, and was admitted off the Columbia waitlist two months later. Do not sleep on this course."

If you have a question that isn't answered here, you can always reach out directly. I read every message.

Do I need my LSAT score before starting? +
No. The strategy, school selection, and personal statement modules don't require a finalized score. Many students start while still preparing for the LSAT so their application is ready to move the moment results come in.
I have a lower GPA. Can this course still help me? +
Yes — and there's an entire section devoted to this. Academic inconsistencies aren't automatic disqualifiers; they're narrative challenges. We cover how to address them honestly and strategically, and some of our most successful students had non-traditional profiles.
What makes this different from other admissions resources? +
Most admissions advice comes from people who applied to law school once. I read applications from inside an admissions committee. That's a fundamentally different vantage point — and it's what makes the framework in this course different from anything else that's out there.
What's the difference between Complete and Core? +
Core is the full video curriculum — everything you need to understand and execute a strong application independently. Complete adds direct personalized feedback: two rounds of personal statement review with written notes, plus a 1-on-1 call with an admissions coach where we look at your specific profile and school list together.
How long do I have access? +
Lifetime access — including all future updates. Pay once, keep it as long as you need it, including updated content for subsequent application cycles if your situation changes.

The door is open. Now walk through it.

The legal profession needs your perspective, your story, your reason for being here. Not as a diversity metric — as a force. Let's get you in the room.
